The workshop is aimed at people from all disciplines interested in expanding their partnering experience and refining their ability for connection and listening. We invite the participants to investigate four main aspects we consider essential in our practice as artists: sensitivity, control, availability, and creative adaptation.
The class will address: movement efficiency, accuracy in reading the quality of motion of our partner and finding balance between the intentions and outcomes of our shared movement exploration.
We will be offering a wide range of tools helping to deepen the understanding of main principles used in partnering work such as: sharing and transferring weight, generating and utilising momentum, dealing with changes of direction, speed and levels, economising force and differentiating it to power, cultivating trust and confidence in shared and balanced roles.
We are keen to share tools that allow participants to investigate their original movement and challenge their practice as a mover beyond technical constraints. We are interested in the quality of the relationships we cultivate with ourselves and others, forming a sensitive and responsive body that can unleash our imagination and support our performance state.

Clémentine Télesfort (France) and Lisard Tranis (Catalonia) are award-winning, internationally recognised dance artists and choreographers based in Barcelona. Since 2019, their collaboration has developed into a distinctive choreographic practice that merges research and stage creation, exploring movement and body expression as tools of communication. Their works create poetic realms where simplicity, intimacy, and physical precision coexist. Both Clémentine and Lisard have work alongside renowned international choreographers, including Guy Nader & Maria Campos, Lali Ayguadé, Yoann Bourgeois, Panama Pictures, and Roser Lopez Espinosa among others. Years of shared performing experience nurtured a strong creative dialogue and a singular physical language, leading them to embark on their own choreographic path.
Alongside their creations, they are highly sought-after educators, regularly teaching at international festivals, professional institutions, and training programs such as SEAD, Deltebre Dansa, Codarts, Descalzinha Danza to name a few. Their workshop, The Attentive Act, proposes as a laboratory space for cultivating partnering skills through the lens of attention, presence, and rigorous physical exploration. Their work continues to earn recognition for its refined physicality, poetry, and deep humanity, placing them among the notable emerging voices in contemporary European dance.
