This workshop looks into how we can connect and approach the floor as a playground where we can move freely and transition to it – Explore the use of weight as a physical element that allows for quick and light movement, while also examining the creative potential of the body parts that are independent of the ground level. You will be guided to explore the floor as a tool, learning how to fold under yourself, shift weight, and create momentum. After exploring the body, the focus moves into finding a way of using the physicality to develop choreography and improvisational scores.
