Born in 1995 in Naples.
He won the Danza&Danza Award 2022 as Emergent Choreographer.
He collaborated with etoiles Eleonora Abbagnato and Jacopo Tissi for the opening of Laura Biagiotti Fashion Show 2023 in Milan.
He created in 2023 the creation “Beija-Flor” for the young company Kayzer Ballet.
In 2022 he created “White Room” for Compagnia Opus Ballet in collaboration with Compagnia Virgilio Sieni, and he created also for many dance programs such as: DAF DANCE FACULTY, NEXT GENERATION CHOREOGRAPHERS in collaboration with Aterballetto and Agora Coaching Project, EDA ACT, ARTEMENTE, KORPER. The duet “Behind you” is selected by MAS DANZA Choreographic Competition and wins the Audience Award and the Canary Islands tour Award.
In 2022 the Nitja Senter of Oslo commissioned him a new work, “Come Neve”, in collaboration with Orsolina28, The Italian Embassy in Norway and the Italian Institute Culture of Oslo; project also selected by KommTanz.
The new creation “Rua da Saudade” debut in September 2022 at Torino Danza Festival in collaboration with TorinoDanza Festival – Teatro Stabile of Torino, Fondazione i Teatri Reggio Emilia – Festival Aperto and Orsolina28.
He created for MM DANCE COMPANY in the context of “Prove d’autore ANTICORPI XL”.
He also won the Italian dance prize “Città di Foligno” as emergent choreographer 2022.
In 2021 The creation “Gli Amanti” is selected by the European Dance Network “Aerowaves” and by the Italian Dance Showcase Anticorpi XL.
During the 2021 the piece “Your body is a battleground” is selected by Italia dei Visionari 2021 and by Campania Teatro Festival 2021, and the project “Rua da Saudade” is one of the winners of the call “Call for Creations” 2021 by Orsolina28 and winner of the prize Cortoindanza 2021. After the creation is also selected for NID PLATFORM 21, DNA Appunti Coreografici 2021, Twain Direzioni Altre 2021 and Certamen Coreografico de Sabadell 2021.
In 2020 the Venice Biennale commissioned him a new work (“Your body is a battleground/solo version”) for the festival.
In 2019 he created for the EGRIBIANCODANZA company “Your body is a battleground (trio version)”, and he has been selected for Venice Biennale College Choreographers during which he created “La più viva delle città morte”.
He was also selected for Anghiari Dance Hub 2019 with the creation “Gli Amanti”.
With “RM94978 from Paris to Tenerife”, work selected by Anticorpi XL Platform, wins in 2019 the Award, Premio Prospettiva Danza Padova.
He’s been choreographer during festivals and international platforms like: Interplay Festival, Danza in Rete, DanzaEstate Bergamo, DAP Festival, Cross Festival Verbania, LDIF Leicester, Opus 1 Slovenia, Fabbrica Europa, Gender Bender Festival, Prospettiva Danza Padova, Kilowatt Festival, BMotion OperaEstate Festival, Ammutinamenti Festival, Moving Colors Festival, Danzattack Tenerife, Artissima Festival, Exister Festival and many others.
Come Neve wants to translate a personal idea of well-being into dance.
The starting image is a snow falling outside the window. The feeling of comfort that comes from the sense of protection and warmth inside, combined with the magic of contemplating the whiteness outside.
Before beginning the work, I involved a group of women in the project who gathered in a “Crochet Club” during the pandemic. This ancient art served as an opportunity not only for collaboration and connection for these women, but also an opportunity for renaissance.
It is said that crochet was born from the ability and imagination of a woman who, fascinated by the beauty and perfection of the snowflakes, decided to reproduce their wonder with a simple hooked needle and a cotton thread.
Interweaving these elements, I wants to invade the spectator with a sudden snowfall of bodies in movement, causing time to pause in a state of serene contemplation. A piece composed as a crochet work: an intricate yet sophisticated plot, a conscious weaving that generates new forms.
