Platforma 13 is a creative duo founded by choreographers Anca Stoica and Sergiu Diță, dedicated to challenging norms and conventions within the performing arts. Their artistic research is rooted in collaborative and transdisciplinary practices, exploring new ways of engaging audiences and expanding the language of contemporary dance.
Both artists hold Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Choreography from the National University of Theatre and Film (UNATC) in Bucharest, and attended the Academy of Dance and Performance 2022–2023 at the National Center for Dance Bucharest (CNDB).
In 2025, the National Center for Dance Bucharest (CNDB) Award was given to the artistic collective Platforma 13 (Anca Stoica & Sergiu Diță) for embracing curiosity, vulnerability and artistic risk through choreographic projects based on collaborative and transdisciplinary practices.
Recent works include Solarisation (2025), Balkan Ballerinas (2024), Play Replay Remix (2023), and Pop Recycling Body Work (2022). Platforma 13 has participated in Bucharest Biennale 10, Mittelyoung (Cividale del Friuli/ Italy), Artown Festival, Spieltriebe Festival (Osnabrück/Germany) & Battery Dance Festival (New York/ USA).
Το «Balkan Ballerinas» είναι μια παράσταση που στοχεύει να αμφισβητήσει τα όρια του σώματος, αναφερόμενη στην ταυτότητα της Ανατολικής Ευρώπης και των Βαλκανίων. Εμπνευσμένη από τα στίγματα και τα στερεότυπα ταυτότητας που δημιουργήθηκαν από τη Δύση και προβάλλουν στα Βαλκάνια, η παράσταση πραγματοποιεί μια ανάλυση της βαλκανικής κουλτούρας. Το σώμα απεικονίζεται ως μια ζώνη μετάβασης, ανάμεσα σε δύο καταστάσεις – την υπερηφάνεια και τη ντροπή, το παρελθόν και το παρόν, τη λαογραφία και το ρέηβ, το μπαλέτο και τη μανέλε (ρουμανική ποπ-λαϊκή μουσική). Με αφετηρία τις έννοιες του βαλκανισμού και του μετακομμουνισμού, η παράσταση διερευνά ένα σώμα που αντιδρά και αμφισβητεί τις προκαταλήψεις, τα κανονιστικά πρότυπα, καθώς και τα γεωγραφικά, πολιτικά και πολιτισμικά όρια.
