ELELEI was born in 2019 from the collaboration between the artists Sabrina Gargano (Barletta, Italy) and Rafa Jagat (Valencia), bringing together the idea of creating their own dance and theatre courses and putting everything in one place as a disciplinary language.
Motivated by telling stories, by wondering the why of things, and why the public could assimilate them, his first work A CIEGAS was born in 2020, winning the First Prize at the MAIS IMAGINARIUS festival in 2021 and the PUBLIC AWARD in the 35th International Choreographic Competition Hannover 2021.
In addition to the work of A CIEGAS, in January 2021, they created the physical theatre film MAY YOU LISTEN? belonging to the formation of the young company of Jasmin Vardimon JV2 in England, and premiered in May 2021. The next year, they were invited again to create a new work called MARATHON.
SOY MADERA (I’M WOOD) premiered at MAIS IMAGINARIUS on May 26, Santa Maria da Feira, in 2022, and was co-produced by the same festival.
The third creation, TOO MUCH, premiered in March ‘24 in Barcelona. Show co-produced by Dansa Metropolitana.

Ένα απλό παιχνίδι που παίζουν μαζί μας τα παιδιά ή οι πολύ στενοί μας άνθρωποι για να μας κάνουν να αναρωτηθούμε, αλλά τι θα γινόταν αν ξαφνικά αυτό μετατραπεί σε κάτι άλλο;
Ένα εξωτερικό γεγονός προκαλεί σε ένα άτομο αλλαγή στη συναισθηματική του κατάσταση.
Αυτό το γεγονός σου καλύπτει τα μάτια, στερώντας σου τη δυνατότητα να δεις τι υπάρχει έξω και ίσως δίνοντάς σου την ευκαιρία να δεις τι υπάρχει μέσα.
Ένα έργο όπου ο χορός και το θέατρο, με μια ελαφριά πινελιά χιούμορ, ενώνουν τις δυνάμεις τους για να διηγηθούν μια ιστορία που είναι πολύ κοντά στο κοινό.
Η πράξη του να καλύπτεις τα μάτια ενός φίλου που πρέπει να ανακαλύψει ποιος είναι γίνεται συναρπαστική και ενδιαφέρουσα. Το παιχνίδι ξεδιπλώνει μια συνεχή σύγκρουση όπου κάτι πολύ βαθύτερο έρχεται στην επιφάνεια.
