This workshop aims to enhance the adaptability of each individual through the development of acute body awareness. Guided in a continuous exploration, participants connect with every part of their bodies, fostering greater sensitivity, mobility, and spontaneity. By integrating somatic, meditation and dance practices, each gesture gains origin and purpose through the exploration of various movement systems. We learn to consistently challenge ourselves, smoothly transitioning from one state to another, playing with intensity, speed, and texture. In response to these suggestions, we break free from established patterns, enabling the development of new ways of perceiving and generating movement. These principles are then applied and practiced at the end of the workshop by creating a choreographic phrase or learning repertoire from the company.
