Iro Konti was born and raised in Athens. She is a graduate of the State School of Dance and the Law School of Democritus University of Thrace. As a dancer, she has collaborated with choreographers and directors such as Romeo Castellucci, Russell Maliphant, Rootlessroot (Linda Kapetanea & Jozef Frucek), Alleyne Dance Co., Jasmin Vardimon, Jenny Argyriou, Yiannis Kakleas, Marianna Kavallieratos, Ermira Goro, Fotis Nikolaou, Alexandros Stavropoulos, Anton Lachky, Jukstapoz Dance Co., among others, performing in Greece and abroad.

In August 2020, she presented her first personal work, titled Numbed Emotion, and in July 2024, she presented her second work, Modulus of Resilience, as part of the 30th Kalamata International Dance Festival.

She has choreographed movement for theatrical productions by K. Markellos and E. Vlachou and has worked as an assistant choreographer with the artistic director of the Greek National Opera Ballet, Konstantinos Rigos, for the productions The Nutcracker and Microdances. She has also collaborated with Ermira Goro for the production Plan B for the Greek National Opera Ballet.
