Inside Extremity is a contemporary dance training method developed and taught by Eva Georgitsopoulou since 2015. The aim of Inside Extremity is to build a frame for contemporary dance training which shall apply to both professional and non professional participants. The vision of the course remains the same up to now. Everyone shall have access in the contemporary dance field. Everyone shall have the chance to train their physicality inside a demanding movement structure which develops each individual in a personal way. The courses are focused on directed technical improvisation and through continuous movement and speed lead the participants into an ongoing balance between impulsive movement and self-direction/control. Any set material is inspired and related to the Improvisation tools. The class starts with technical improvisation, moves into a series of exercises and strengthening movement patterns and finishes with a movement combination which trains coordination, speed and among all clarity and energy .

Inside Extremity is looking for constant creativity and sharpness inside the movement -mind relationship and aims to create mental confidence through physical confidence. In the spectrum of dance as a language, this method’s vision is for the body to develop as a source of endless vocabulary and for each participant to transform into an ongoing physical storyteller.

Movement Poetry is a highly dynamic contemporary dance class/training which uses a mixture of different physical styles and movement aesthetics and therefore combines physical elements which enrich the physical vocabulary of the body and challenge each participant’s coordination and awareness.

Movement Poetry begins with a physical warm up in order for the body to be prepared and available to the movement research. After the warm up, various physical materials including floor movement, set phrases and improvisation follow up.

In the last part of the class we are learning a playful choreography. This set material is used in order for each participant to play with their own physical sense, their personal musicality and their own movement character.

Movement Poetry is mirroring the vision of Tamae as an artist and it becomes a safe environment of learning and sharing. A space where physical research uses the body as a tool to express deep human emotions which resonate with everyone, regardless of their origin or background.
