It is the result of an investigation where we combine concepts from MINDCROSS and THE INTUITIVE BODY, to search for movement possibilities in situations of bodily interaction.

In the workshop we explore elements of association that can be applied in trios, quartets, quintets, groups and masses.

Through practice, the group will find a body state in which the cores of all participants are interconnected, through the relationship with the feet, the ground and control of body weight.

With exercises and games that involve the foundations of our practice, we open the way to study another element that is fundamental during partnering relationships: roles.

These will not be predetermined but will change constantly during the interaction. Understanding what role is being played is essential to boost action.

We will work the roles with games that involve different forces and inertia and concentrate energy at specific points depending on the dynamics. We will know different types of axes (the individual, the common and the referential) and we will study the forces that are contained in them.

OBJECTIVES
– Develop the collective ability to work in diverse teams, in order to improve the physical and creative
capacities of those who participate.
– Stimulate horizontal creation.
– Develop skills for the resolution of difficulties through experimentation with roles and creative risks.

Coming from the country with strong folkloric roots, my formation path was very much influenced by it.

During my studies at conservatory J.L.Bellu, besides classical and folklore dance, I fell in love with contemporary dance style, which brought me to discover my authentic dynamic movement. I was lucky/blessed to explore this deeper at the international schools like SEAD and P.A.R.T.S.

I have always been a very energetic person with endless curiosity to look for different ways of expressing my artistic soul. Over the years performing, collaborating with different artistic companies, traveling and getting to know different cultures, I had the need to create my own playful training practice, to be able to share it with other movers, artists, people and like this keep on getting inspired by them. The adrenalin of the unknown in the new opportunities is what gives me the push to keep exploring my artistic spirit.

I like to consider myself an artist, despite the fact I do not always succeed in creating it. But inside this elusiveness of art is where I like to play. I enjoy devising strategies to make science out of this alchemic practice.

I have been in the theater universe since birth and can say now that I already carry more than 20 years of professional experience in my back.

My formation includes knowledge acquired “in the field”, a highly experimental academic process at El Barco, and personal empirical research in the field of movement and creative processes.

I love collaborating with artists from all fields (even those in fields not commonly associated with arts), because I can never have enough discovery and feedback.

The challenge of chasing art with someone with a different “creative setting” and learning to communicate and include that setting into mine is what drives me.
