Scotoma is an area of the vision field that all mammals have where there is no photoreceptor cells, also called blind spot.
YOU ARE LOOKING, BUT WHAT DO YOU REALLY SEE?
Scotoma is a dance piece, which speaks about attention. An invitation to reflect on what captures it and what directs it. Can we perceive what we are taking for grated or notice what is hidden at first sight? Scotoma invites us to observe the meeting of two people immersed in their own world. They will give each other the possibility to discover others perspectives, thus allowing them to widen their gaze towards the unknown. But will they really be able to appreciate it? Or will they end up losing sight of it?
