Christos Xyrafakis & Andy Xhuma – Ok that’s you…

Andy Xhuma and Chistos Xyrafakis , two young choreographers in their first stage attempt, are confronted with the “gigantism” of the image and the speed of the media era. Humorous sequences, always concentrated in movement research, are composing multiple stories of media craziness, in which the four characters are functioning sometimes as an avatar and sometimes as identifiable passers-by in a daily urban and/or domestic environment.

Dance Days Chania Performance

Among all the unlikely, an armchair, predominantly a symbol, an object-fetish of the modern man who forgot (lost) the essential relationship with play, introducing and marking a relationship with time, as an instant standstill in front of the screen, before we wake up by the movement of the “outside” world.
