BODY #1

Tickets (For 3 performances of the evening) :

In the duet ‘Body #1’, Roni explores physically how two different bodies can emerge into one. By insisting on the sticky connection between the two pelvises, the performers find original ways to move as one body with eight limbs and two heads. The work gives a new visual and physical translation to the other half theory of Plato, that tries to give a reason for the never ending human desire for a monogamy:

Each of us, then, is a ‘matching half’ of a human whole, because each was sliced like a flatfish, two out of one, and each of us is always seeking the half that matches him.
